Is A&M a stepping stone school for QB's?

Current trend analysis suggests that QB's use A&M to transfer to the more elite schools inside the state of Texas.

I'd expect Allen to go to Baylor/UT. Texas Tech isn't really an upgrade over A&M nor is SMU yet although I think Morris will get them there.

What happens to Murray if he even makes it to campus?

Every school is a stepping stone; our school is a stepping stone for qb oblivion. I would like to say mediocrity but our qbs, save one, dream of mediocrity.

I think Manziel would've been molded into a serviceable backup NFL QB had he been wise and spent a year at one of the schools mentioned in OP.

It's a shame but Johnny has never had the maturity/foresight to make such a move. Oh well

We're just all going to sit here and watch this poor guy melt? Has anyone even called the paramedics? Think of the children.

When you amass an obscene amount of QB talent at one school, transfers are the expected result.
And that's a good thing.
It's something that will likely happen in Aggieland annually--for the near future, anyway.
These kids are competitors; they want to play.
We wish Kenny (and others) nothing but the best.

So, Tannehill is in the NFL. Showers transferred because he couldn't beat Johnny.....who's in the NFL. And Trill is transferring because he can't beat Allen....who has NFL potential. We clearly have problems.

In fact, all of our recent QBs have seen some NFL time (McGee, J.J., Tanny, and Johnny). Not too shabby.

OP's question was about the school.

Meh. The only good Big 12 QB in the entire league is Ryan Tannehill.
