What's your outlook for next year based on current roster, expected newcomers, scheduled games and overall attitude. So you feel like your team is heading in the right direction? Will 2015 be a better or worse year and what do you expect the win loss record will end up at the end of the season. Playoff contender?

My thoughts on Bama.

I was satisfied with the results of this past season and Happy that the team won the SEC. It was a very entertaining season and the Bama team had some great games.

For 2015, a lot of questions but there is a lot of talent. The defense is gonna have to step up early in the season as the new playmaker on offense gain experience. The most critical areas that need to be improved on defense is secondary play. There is a wealth of talent, you and unproven but it is there and could be very good.

On offense, the line needs to become dominant again and a force that can move the chains by running the ball. I think we must get back to the "run to set up the pass" and that starts at the LOS. Playmaker are everywhere on the roster but not much experience or proven but the talent is there to work with for the coaches. QB is a critical unknown.

I will be happy with the team being in contention at the end of the year for the SEC and playoffs. Actually, with the way Bama has recruited the is no reason not to be in contention. But it all depends on how classes pan out and if both sides of the ball can be successful at the same time. I see 2015 similar to 2014, a transition year of sorts with a new qb.

I expect to reach 10 wins and if everything comes together then the talent is there to make a run at the SEC and CFPO again.

I think the main completion in the West will be the usual suspects, Auburn and LSU. There will be another team that surprises, early guess is Ark as they seem to be on a upswing (they couldn't have gone down but could have been stuck in neutral)

My best guess on a pre season team ranking

Bama
Au/lsu
Ark
TAMU
Ole Miss
MSST (will change if Dak comes back)

No way dude. I've heard from most on this board LSU is on course to finish last because we haven't hired a DC yet.

Our season hinges on the QB situation IMO. If it's Jennings again I can see another 4-4 year in conference play.

Everyone picking Ole Miss at 6th in the West has no idea that we return 18 starters

12 wins if we get good QB play. 9-3 if we are average. I think we are still a big but slower defense that will struggle with spread teams.....again.

Not trolling but could it be that your QB coach isn't very good?

Everyone was saying how we were going to contend for the SEC in 2015, but unless we get some juniors to stay, I don't see how winning 10 games next season isn't a huge accomplishment.

Fournette is a stud and the best player on our team. Got some good RB prospects coming in also. WR is a strong spot wit Dupre, Dural, and freshman Tyron Johnson if he signs. The OL will be less experienced, but depending on who comes back, can still be good. QB position will be a mess until someone improves drastically. If we can somehow land Golson or Miller, the offense can win games and help the defense out.

DT will be strong with Godchaux and Valentine (who redshirted this year). Losing Hunter will hurt a bit on DE, but hopefully some guys can step up to the role.

I think that is a pretty fair analysis for Alabama. I just looked over the schedule and it looks like September will be very favorable (aside from neutral site game all games that month are at home correct?). That should help give the offense some time to develop.

That Georgia game looks to be a real test!

As for Auburn. I hope the defense improves. I think the offense will look different, but will still score a lot (Coach Malzahn does a great job tailoring his O to the players he has). The real question is how much will the defense progress? McKinzy and Frost returning helps.

Louisville makes me nervous just because of Petrino. Arkansas makes me nervous because they have a bye the week before and we play at their house.

Our first real test comes very early when we go into Baton Rouge.

My best guess right now would be Auburn wins 9 games.

Our QB coach turned Mett from an average SEC QB to a top pro style NFL prospect. So I doubt it.

All you have to do is watch Jennings play. The guy is not good. Our offensive strategy clearly tried to protect this deficiency all year which led to ultra conservatism and predictability.

Now if you want to inquire why that didn't lead to more experimentation with the only other scholarship QB on the roster, then join the club.

You guys are in the same situation as us. Can't win with an incompetent QB.

Well please expand on your team. that is the whole point of my post. Do you think Ole Miss will be better than Bama? AU? ARK? LSU? I will give you TAMU, should have had y'all above them in the first place.

what about your team excites you the most and how does the schedule line up?
