Georgia fans, what's the deal with Ray Goff and Terrell Davis?

saw a random mention of this today
Why did he refuse to release the guy's game tape to scouts when Davis was going into the draft?
Was he trying to screw him over or did Goff think it was supposed to help Davis in some way?

I know Davis doesn't care much for Goff. Davis had a problem with Georgia being a pass happy team when he was here and he never really got to showcase in college. As far as releasing his game tape, don't really know anything about that situation.

Don't know much about the game tape thing, but this wouldn't surprise me with goff. He kind of had a reputation as a stupid dick. Though Terrell also never got to run much due nagging hammy issues

Davis should thank him, he ended up with the Broncos at the right time and gets to go down as an NFL great. Don't see that happening with many other teams.

Kind of?God, the players I knew who had the misfortune of him as their HC DETESTED the guy.

Goff was an idiot. The staff wanted to build around Davis. But Goff wanted to throw the ball. Davis pulled his hamstring and Goff called him soft.

So basically he was a "rub some dirt on it kid" type who took offense to a player getting hurt?
Sounds like a swell guy. How the hell did he last so long with such a mediocre record? Was being a former player really that big of a feather in his cap?

When he first got to UGA he was riding the bench behind Garrison Hearst.
But, what Tyler said is mostly it. TD missed 4 or 5 games his Sr year, and a few his Jr year.
By the time TD came back from the injury his senior year, UGA had basically sold out on being a passing team with Eric Zier(sp).
I've always followed UGA Football pretty closely, and I don't remember any draft tape issues, Goff, however, was a douchebag.
