Vols demolished Texas A&M tonight so looking like the Big 3 out of the gate are all in the East.

I'm looking forward to this game Sunday vs your Cats.

Should be a good test for both teams. I fully expect the CLA to be packed and crazy.

I think South Carolina will win this and it may not be close. Cats have 4 not even dressing due to injury, 2 of which may be out the rest of the year to preserve an extra year of eligibility. On a side note, lots of exciting SEC games last night including that Hogs @ State game but no pixels in ESPN's WBB page, instead it is everybody else.

Headlines from current ESPN page :
1) Miami stops Irish's 30-game road win streak (2 ACC teams)
2) Pittsburgh upsets No. 8 North Carolina by 25 (2 ACC teams, notice they spell out North)
3) No. 13 Duke gets by Cuse on late free throws (2 ACC teams)
Streaking No. 7 Vols rout No. 9 Texas A&M (2 SEC teams, 1 being Vols)
4) No. 1 S. Carolina catches fire, rocks Bama (2 SEC teams, notice they don't spell out South)
5) Liberty rehire Laimbeer as coach | Voepel (WNBA)
6) UConn freshman Edwards transfers to USC (Uconn)
7) Sparks hire ex-Storm coach Agler | Voepel (WNBA)
8) VanDerveer breaks arm in Stanford practice (PAC)
9) South Carolina maintains top spot in AP poll (shows they know how to spell out South)
10) S. Carolina's Welch (neck) OK'd to practice (notice they don't spell out South)

# No mention of a great game between Hogs and State even tho State is 18-0 and it was very exciting game to watch till the last 4 mins.
# No mention of UK even tho they are Top 10 and still undefeated in conference play

If the Cocks were not #1 right now they would probably not be getting anything either. They arse kiss the ACC and Uconn and it hurts the national exposure.

ps, I have that WBB thread up for this week that I will bump for you on the main page of the Rant.

Good game for the Cocks

On the Uconn boards and they are trash talking USC and how they will beat them by 20 or more points. Would love to see the Cocks win that game.

Link to the UConn boards?

Just got home from the game.

How is the little girl who hurt her ankle? She was screaming like she was in serious pain. Happened right in front of us but I couldn't tell what happened - people were in our way. My Son said he thought he heard something snap?

Took my 6 year old girl. She loved it. Good game, hope that ky girl recovers. Looked like a bad injury.

How would you like to have seats next to baseline jesus?

I've known Carlton for years. He's a good guy, Elgin boy, who loves his Gamecocks.

Carlton actually sat in a class I helped with in Graduate School, and there was this other guy, big rugby player back then, who we called Tree who was exactly Carlton's age, height, everything. They even looked alike back then.

But I didn't really get to know Carlton until about ten years ago when I started volunteering at the V.A. where he works.

I used to laugh when people I knew asked about him and asked if he was homeless ... when he is anything but. He's just a very nice, very charitable, Gamecock fan.

Boneyard is one but I have blocked it. They have several others but heads up before you go, they are ugly when they win and even uglier when they lose. They have a habit of trolling all the other teams ESPN stuff but I never wanted to join ESPN to post there. Check some of your games on ESPN and read the comments. Willing to bet 25% of them are Uconn fans.

Check TN, ND, UL, UNC, and some of the other high profile schools and you will find Uconn folks on them.

Initial report is dislocated ankle and she is done for the season. They took her to the hospital there so hoping will get more info later.

Good win for the team. We didn't shoot that well, but rebounding made up for that.

Not good

Broken fibula, done for the season.

Thanks to the folks who were thinking of her.
