UGA should have hired an experienced and proven College Football OC. IMO.

Vs. the experienced and proven NFL OC that they hired.

They should have shelled out the money and hired Bloomgren.

??? I would refrain from using the term proven. If anything, he struggled. You can't sugar coat his background.

As it stands right now, Shotty is a downgrade from Bobo.

Hrmmm, you seem to be in a very small minority of the uninformed. Seems most analysts and other coaches think this is a great hire.

Our recruits love it. Analysts thinks its great. Other coaches scared.

I think I will go with Shotty over your Shitty opinion.

You say we should have hired an experience and proven OC, and then say we should have hired Bloomgren? He is way less proven at the college level than Schottenheimer is at the NFL level, and Schottenheimer hasn't even been that great.

IT_DAWG. Apparently you are very uninformed. Try reading something other than this Forum. You are wrong. But you are entitled to your idiotic opinion.

Well, there will not be a drop off at OL with Bloomgren. And he has way more experience at the College level than Shotty. Heck. Lily is a better answer than Shotty. IMO.

From what I understand, we could have had either or. If I had to guess, Bloomgren being a current college OC would want his own staff and Shott was willing to keep the staff intact. Not that hard to learn to recruit so long as you aren't a total a-hole.
