The Bear never won the national championship at A&M

He's considered the greatest coach of all time and couldn't win it all at A&M. He did beat Texas so he's got that going for him. So what makes A&M fans think that Chavis can win them a title if the greatest couldn't?

Chavis is not the head coach. He only needs to hold the scoring down to 20 points a game. Sumlin can put up the points.
Former DC allowed 40 points All Chavis has to do is stop the bleeding.
Before someone brings it up, the Alabama game was an anomaly this year.

Coach Bryant was 20-5-1 against LSU...they'd probably settle for that.

Bear never won an MNC at Kentucky either. Something happened.
Saban won it all at LSU. Then left. Much like Chavis.

Both fan bases are exactly alike--insufferable assholes. Both athlectic programs could suck donkey peen and we would still be the same insufferabe dicks.
We have history. We compete for the same recruits. We are blindly proud of our respective institutions. It is truely the rivalry LSU has never really had.

I love how bama fans come out of the woodwork when they hear bear and then have to defend their record versus lsu, like that was really a debate on who was winning that series
