Why are UGA fans ok with mediocrity?

They play basketball in an arena that is mediocre by high school standards.
They've had Mark Richt as their head coach since 2001.
They replaced Mike Bobo with Brian Schottenheimer
They kept Todd Grantham for 4 seasons
They fail to bring in top in-state talent every year and then claim "he wasn't a take"
This is their indoor practice facility
What gives?

They simply don't have the hunger for success many major programs do. They act like they are the Stanford of the south with all the "we don't want to cheat" garbage.

No, you aren't even the Stanford of your state- Georgia Tech is.
Georgia is that super hot high school girl who is such a goody two shoes that she won't even go to third base with her steady boyfriend even though all her friends are sluts.
