Figure we probably ended the season ranked in '90.

Obviously we were ranked in 09, I really just meant that it's been a long time since we've been in the polls. That's got to be a good sign for the team.

Which poll did we get ranked in? I looked at BBA and D1 and we aren't even receiving votes in those

I have zero idea how legit those polls are, but I'll take being ranked in any poll at this point.

Well they've got us ranked so clearly they're the most legit.

Georgia being good at baseball would be just lovely. I'd take this over the hoop dawgs any day. Not that we should make tradeoffs but...I am making a tradeoff.

The Hoop Dawgs have given me nothing. The Diamond Dawgs have given me tons of stuff like Gordon Beckham, College World Series appearances, boobies, alcohol, and regular season conference titles.

Oh, and they didn't lose to fricking bad Auburn and Carolina teams. Assholes.

Maybe I'm weird but I love following our basketball team. It's hard when we're utterly awful, which we have been quite a bit, but there's a special feeling about having a good bball team.

I guess it is cooler because it gets more pub but as durden put it Georgia Baseball has done less to hurt me. 2008 CWS sucked but unlike any other major sport in Athens they were in the title.

Basketball would be great just because of the exposure and I'd love to see the Dawgs go deep for friggin once but I just can never see it happening. I just want them to make the tourney cause watching that last game made me wanna punch something.

I think the reason I enjoy it is because I first started getting into UGA bball around late middle school/early high school, so at the time we had Harrick and were really rolling. The first few games I ever went to were some UF and UT games where the place was bonkers and we were actually a legit, competent team. I will go to my grave thinking that Harrick's last team (that adams pulled from postseason play) could've made the final 4. Just a really really fun team.

Then we got Felton and that really sucked but at that point I was hooked.

Dawgs leading 2-0 in the top of the 5th.

Pissed off that we're not going to get to play KSU tomorrow. Would be a ranked matchup midweek against an in-state opponent.

However, we're in Statesboro all weekend which should be entertaining.

Dawgs up 3-0 in the 6th

FYI, the Greenhouse is now on Twitter. Managed to piss of FSU's right fielder enough this weekend that he tweeted some angry things at them.

UGA Greenhouse: Doing God's Work since... a long time.
