I drove by Foley Field earlier today and they're cutting it really close to being 100% finished by Friday. They still have up construction fences, tape, etc on the front side and people working hard to get it done.

Probably like 85% of the people there. I kinda hate it for the players, but I mean if given the choice obviously most people would rather go watch basketball.
Stricklin said it was because of the weather projections Saturday evening and they didn't want to play in that cold a weather. On the brightside, at least it won't take up an ENTIRE day now.

I kinda like it. You don't have to wait around all day for the first event to start, you get relatively warm weather for baseball, and get done with basketball in time to get home for dinner.

One out away from an opening sweep, up 11-1.
We have a strong KSU program on Tuesday at their place and then FSU next weekend. Nice tune up this weekend, but we're about to find out how real this team is

We shall see. KSU is a better baseball program than us right now so a loss wouldn't be a surprise at all. A win would be delightful esp on the road.

KSU lost a lot off that Supers team from last year. Would not be surprised if we went over there and took one to the tune of 8-4 or so.
