My brothers wife is cousins with Keegan Mcgovern from the baseball team at UGA. Looks like the team is playing well to start the year.

We have an ace and 2 very good other weekend starters. I like what I see out of our staff thus far.

Yeah, it's wonderful to see great pitching again. In Perno's last few season it was just abysmal and I almost couldn't bear watching it.
On a totally unrelated note, were they fricking kidding about the new hit-by-pitch rule? You have to try and get out of the way or else they call it off? That's bullshite. So long as a player isn't hanging over the plate, the batter has a right to the box. If I'm up to bat in a tight game and we need a base runner or if we have the bases juiced and pitch starts to run inside, I ain't moving for shite. I'll take my base. It's up to the pitcher to avoid the batter, not the other way around.
