Just goes to show how much it screws everything from the top down when your ace and your Sunday starter get hurt. Have to move the midweek starters to the weekend and replace the midweek games with bullpen guys. Bullpen gets weaker, midweek gets weaker, and your bats have to be on their game over the weekend in case the replacement starters can't pass muster

Smaller schools flat out want it more, are more likely to pitch their ace against the big school, etc. Also doesn't help when you (UGA) are not yet talented or deep enough to take a rash of injuries.

Another problem with this team is that we strand more runners than I can ever remember. Also, we NEVER swing at a 2-0 pitch. Ever. Period. Lob one right down the middle and it won't get touched. It's maddening.
