I actually co-held a world record a long time ago. In 1981 we (an Air Force base in Ark) set the world record for the longest softball game; 80 straight hours, no substitution and the game was validated to go into the books but was broken before the next edition.

I always figured I could do some random activities for some length of time that no one had done before and make a niche for myself, but I suppose they have some rules and stuff to prevent that.
