I think I just don't know enough about women's basketball polls but it seems silly that our women aren't ranked higher at 17-0 with 2 wins over top 20 teams.

That is why you look at the RPI. State has 2 good wins over Top 25 types but that is it. UK has a RPI of #3 as they have 2 wins over Top 10 teams (Baylor and Louisville) plus they have wins on the road against Oklahoma and South Florida and had some wins against solid mid majors like CMU, MTSU, and TSU. Their 2 losses were @ a ranked Duke team and on the road against a 10-4 Illinois team. State will get a bump in their RPI as they play through the conference but their pre conference was not as impressive as several other SEC schools. In women's basketball you have many good mid majors you may not see in similar ways as the men's game. It is pretty impressive tho that all but 1 SEC team is in the upper half of the RPI. Unlike the men, the SEC women are so deep it is not unusual to see 7 or 8 teams get into the dance.

Top 25 RPI's
00.86% | #3 Kentucky
01.43% | #5 Tennessee
03.72% | #13 South Carolina

Top 50 RPI's
09.17% | #32 Mississippi State
09.46% | #33 Texas A&M
11.75% | #41 Georgia
12.32% | #43 Vanderbilt

Top 75 RPI's
16.91% | #59 Arkansas

Top 100 RPI's
none

Top 125 RPI's
33.24% | #116 Auburn
35.82% | #125 Ole Miss

Top 150 RPI's
38.68% | #135 Missouri

Top 175 RPI's
44.41% | #155 Alabama
45.85% | #160 LSU

Top 200 RPI's
52.44% | #183 Florida

100.0% | #349 Charleston Southern Big South 3-9

Read some of my posts on the Cock Board...

They push the ACC all the time at the expense of the SEC even tho the SEC is top WBB conference in the US

Yep..I kept rewinding it to make sure I heard her right.

#1 in the nation and still no respect. Gotta love it. Screw 'em.

Great job by the Cats hanging right in there with us, too. This is gonna be a good'un.

UUUGHHHHH...if The Lady G's don't start taking advantage of those points in the paint we're gonna screw ourselves.

Cocks probably win this one. 4 of UK's players are out with injuries. Two of them will probably be out for rest of the season so they get another year and the Senior is gone till last week or 2 of the season and post season play.

Ahhhh...they're playing Sandstorm. Does my soul good.

They played a clip of y'alls coach talking to the team at half and I swear he sounds like Bill Clinton when he talks.

Y'all are wearing our asses out. Damn. Staley is bound to get a technical before this game is over with. She's having total conniption fits and has Frank Martin eyes at times.

I've been paying attention to y'alls score. Keep it up, LSU! I'd love to see y'all knock them out of the top 10.
