What is your overall feeling on 2014? I have to think that, overall, you would feel pretty good about things going forward. Your play regressed after losing your best player and you took a step up from 2013, return a bunch for 2015. Thoughts?

We weren't very good. Great at times defensively but overall shitty.

Freeze has said from day one his goal was to field a team that was competitive in the 4th quarter.

Arkansas

TCU

I'm pissed about those two games, but 2015 will tell the tale. We've improved each year, but the 2014 year had some questionable moments (LSU, Arky, TCU) that hurt psychologically. More so, because expectations changed once we went 7-0. Maybe that's unfair, maybe it isn't. If we can somehow get some good QB play next year, that team should be better than '14.

Do you expect Chad Kelly to come in and get the starting nod? Who is there other than him?

I feel like I don't care as much about Ole Miss football as I used to.

Football is a bullshite sport that will be dead in a few years anyway.

I am moving my fandom to lacrosse.

Overall, pretty good. We improved from last year and are trending in the right direction.

LSU was a game we were going to lose anyway but we kept it close despite a bad performance. The AU game was one we could have won, but we didn't and the emotional ending took it's toll on a young team the following weekend at Arky. TCU, I don't know what happened there other than the fact that we ran into one of the hottest teams in the country who was pissed off and looking to prove something.

Depth was still an issue as evidenced by the OL and when some of the revivers went down. The depth situation should be better in '15 as well as the overall mentality of the team. We were still very young this year. Freeze is still learning to be a HC in big time football and should also learn from some of his play calling mistakes as well

I look for another 9-3 type year with the possibility of 10,11 wins if we catch some breaks

We actually had 3 weeks to recover for Arky and still put out that shite stain of a performance

Overall, we should be happy about the football season with the exception for the Arkansas game. As much as I hate LSU, losing to them at night in Death Valley by 3 points is not a bad loss. The Auburn loss was heartbreaking, but more because of the way we lost and to lose our best player. TCU was the better team and a team on a mission. The upsetting thing was to lose to Arkansas the way we did. We showed little to no fight in that game and the offensive play calling was atrocious. Overall tho, a good year.

Going forward, I feel very excited about next season. Our defense should again be one of the top in the nation and our offensive line and running back play can only get better. I think between Treadwell, Tunsil, CJ Johnson, and Conner, it will be the best group of leaders we've had since I can remember. It will all come down to qb play. I want no part of Chad Kelly. To me, Freeze took a chance on the kid and he screwed up again before setting foot on campus. I love Ole Miss football, but I love The University of Mississippi more and do not want some spoiled thug to represent my school. Here's hoping even if Freeze keeps him, we have another kid step up and ultimately lead to Kelly leaving.

I'm still hot about the Arkansas loss. No way we should be losing to programs like that.

I'm happy. I thought if our oline didn't improve, we would be lucky to win 8. Our oline didn't improve and we won nine. Worried about the consistency of the team. Played lights out vs. Bama and then stunk it up vs. LSU and Arky. Our depth hurt is late in the year as usual. THat will continue to improve. If we get decent qb play (and let's face it, Bo was nothing better than decent and was inconsistent as hell), we will be ok in '15.

Would that imply ALL of the fourth quarter?

This.

If he performed at a 5 out of 10 consistently every game, then that would be okay. His problem would be that he'd be a 9 one minute and a 2 the next. You could never be sure of who was going to show up
