I think I have the flu for the first time.

So I've never had the flu before. I assume it's the flu and not just a normal cold cause it really sucks and I usually don't get sick. Do I have to go by the doctor or will drinking excessive cold and flu meds and Advil and all that shite be enough?
My momma won't answer the phone so I need some help my e-friends.

The flu is a natural and normal event.
Like a wild forest fire.
It's designed to accelerate the process of killing off dying/dead cells.
We have decided in the medical industry to zap everything, react to everything, which isn't the wisest decision.
I'd let it ride out, drink a lot of fluids and see how you are in a day or two.

I have a very slight fever. I'm a holed up for the nigh. But I'll hit the doc in the morning if I don't feel better. I'm gonna double down on the Advil and cold/flu meds though.

if you already have it then just go to cvs and get some OTC stuff. Also stay away from any kids, they could get it and die

Go to the doctor ASAP. If you think you feel like shite now, just wait a few days. The flu is the only time I've been sick and felt like I was dying.

I'm already in bed, I'll go tomorrow. Would be nice if they would throw me some codeine syrup too but I won't get my hopes up.

Go to the doctor. You might have pneumonia. A chest xray will tell. shite can get very serious and you could die. We would sort of miss you.

Thought I had the flu last night... Turns out it was the worst stomach virus I've ever had... Got in the bathtub 3 times... Threw up too many times to count and the diarrhea was especially bad... At 5 this morning I was fairly certain I was gonna die... Miserable.

You probably don't have pneumonia. Your fever would be soaring.
A slight fever does indicate that you may have the flu. If you get to the doc today or tomorrow, you can probably get Tamiflu, as PrivatePublic said. You're early enough in your illness that Tamiflu would dramatically reduce the symptoms for and the length of your flu.
If you wait much longer, however, you're going to be absolutely miserable for about 2-3 weeks, as Duke mentioned.
