Every team in the division is owned by low class idiots and none of the teams is worth watching. After seeing Arthur Blank betray his coaches and team by forming a search committee with the division on the line I will never again support Blank's team. Blank will hire Rex Ryan and the two clowns deserve each other.

after the way he dismissed Reeves and now Smith I'm with Whiz on this one. Blank is a low class piece of shite and the Falcons aren't gonna be worth a crap for years to come because of it.

Did Blank leak it though? I don't see why he would've done that because it doesn't benefit him in any possible way. I thought that word of it got out and Blank was pissed about that.

of course he leaked it..or he ran his mouth to any and everybody within earshot...and what was/is the rush..it's not like college where the new regime has to recruit..new NFL regime has weeks to get into the jobs.

I agree, and also Dimitroff is a classless piece of shite as well. He let his supposed partner (Smith) take the shite all year and was nowhere to be found.
Now, that Smith is canned, they are saying the Smith made Dimitroff draft the players he did.

If Dimitroff isn't fired then, IMO, you all have reason to want to burn the franchise down. But of all Atlanta ownership groups Blank is the one trying hardest to win

Disagree,Falcon's are a pretty quick fix especially in QB driven league and the division they're in.
They'll get a healthy Moore,Alford and 'Spoon back on defense and hopefully draft a quality pass rusher (this years draft is full of 'em)
Obvoiusly the front 7 needs improvment but they
did show some life in the last qtr of the season (especially against the run)
Offense should be fine especially with getting back some of our injured guys on the O-line and Mathews getting a full year under his belt at LT.
Falcon's are the 2nd best job out there behind the 49'ers IMO.

Or Roddy and Jones get hurt again, our theories about the Oline (and they are theories) are bullshite and we suck again, No RB or TE to be seen, the LBs and Dline are BS, Spoon may not be back by the way and who is to say he stays healthy and Moore never is either.
A new HC, new DC and new OC, you can hear it now, it will take time to adjust, time, time, and we are in the EIGHTH season of this misguided regime. What a dumpster fire this franchise is.

Produced 5 of the best seasons in Falcon's history...far from a dumpster fire.Once again,
barring injuries (which we were pretty lucky with those 5 years) this team is a quick fix in this division.

Just fired the coach, GM job is a day to day watch. 1 pro bowl vote and the was for the place kicker. 2 losing seasons in a row. No Oline, no Dline, no pass rush, no linebackers, no TE, no RB of note, aging WRs with injury problems, safetys are mediocre despite the misplaced praise Moore gets.
Kicking game is good. Ryan is good, but not great. Jones is good when he plays, and that is about it.
Quick fix. Are you kidding??? Being the 2nd tallest midget is no accomplishment. Don't you realize that in any other division in the NFL we would be like 5 games out?????????????

the Falcon fan optimism is funny to read.."we're just a player away!"...that team is horrible and the record shows it..the best season was a study in last minute luck and then they bust it apart.
Blank pisses his fellow owners off by discounting his tix his first year of ownershiup and that;s why he can't get another Super Bowl without ripping off the taxpayers for millions. He fricked over the only head coach that got the Falcons to the Super Bowl and now has fricked over the HC that, as was stated above, gave the Falcons their best seasons in franchise history. AND that douche can't stay off the sidelines during the 4th qtr when all the grown up owners in the league are in their suite as God intended it.Frankly the Blank Love in the Atlanta area is hard to understand ( I had a patient recently who wished he would by the Braves so they would be competitive again). Gee Arthur, it would really help if you actually knew what you were doing, but..sigh..oh well.

I ain't a fan of the NFL but would be a bandwagon falcon fan if there were ever any reason to be but all you gotta do is step into a Home Depot to see what the Falcons are going to look like and the cross the street and go into a Lowes to take a look at what an NFL team will look like. Home Depot looks like a dollar general store and a SAMs club had an illegitimate bastard savant son while Lowes looks a lot like a Publix or a chick fil a.....the prices are about the same, the products are identical, but the shopping experience is heads and shoulders above the other. The Falcons are a bad Home Depot that doesn't even draw the attention of Mexican day labor......

IN THIS DIVISION (how many times do I freakin have to say it) A .500 record wins this division and the Falcons are more than capable of going 8-8 next year.Should've had that record this year if not for Smiths screw ups vs Cleveland and Detroit.
