Exactly what the title says. Some fanbases are satisfied with being mediocre (and even worse), while other fanbases are bummed about the end result of the season.

Auburn fans? Alabama fans? Ole Miss fans? Mississippi State fans? LSU fans? South Carolina fans? All seem to be disappointed. Arkansas fans? Georgia fans? Texas A&M fans? Mizzou fans? All seem to be OK with the ending result of the season.

I'm really disappointed in Arkansas fans. For crying out loud, this team has only won 2 SEC games in 2 seasons (2-14) and got the honor of beating up on a terrible Texas team, yet they are ecstatic with being mediocre at best. They are beating their chest over being 7-6 on the year and finishing last in the SEC West, which turned out to be a weaker division than everyone originally assumed. I don't know, maybe the fanbase is happy to actually have a winning record for once, even though that amounts to basically nothing in the SEC.

Anyways, 2014 was fun. Let's get the off-season threads rolling and set our sights on 2015.

Maybe we're disappointed with the season, but optimistic about the next?

It was a rebuilding year for us. Everyone said 6-6 if we were lucky without Johnny.

Instead we went 8-5 and won a bowl we probably shouldn't have. Then we snuck in and stole Chavis.

I'm ok with that.

We met expectations. Why be disappointed? Auburn didn't.

Auburn had a season similar to Georgia's 2013 season. 5 or 6 key players miss games due to either injury or suspension. Probably would have won 10 or more games if all those players would have played in every game

also Arkansas increased win total by 4 games in 2014, Auburn's deceased by that amount

Now who should be disappointed about their season again?

Are you actually trying to say yall exceeded expectations with a 7-5 regular season? I'm sure that's exactly what you were thinking week 1.
