Why do A&M fans get upset when Bama loses? Very bizarre.

Because they were the first school to pat A&M on the head when they joined the conference.

"Good boy!" from Bama is what the Ags live for these days.

Lots of connections between A&M and Bama. Bryant, Stallings, Sherrill, Franchione. They also know it bothers LSU people.

I get it if they dickride bama for winning to annoy LSU fans, but it gets weird when they get sad when bama loses

A&M doesn't know how to be in a conference without having a Daddy that they serve and look up to. They have chosen Alabama because they think that Alabama runs things and they want to get in on Bama's good side while hoping for scraps from the table.

Ole Miss fans are the same way, honestly.

So, it is just A&M being A&M.

LSU stands on their own - mostly because of geography and culture but also because they are the only Big 6 school west of Tuscaloosa and are the prominent school in their state with no natural rival. So, LSU hates everyone but Miss. St. and is hated by everyone. It has always been that way.

A&M doesn't know how to do that, so they kow-tow. Interesting, really.

It was a great game--about as good as anyone could've scripted.
Enjoyed it.

it's the only team they have beaten (once) since they have been in the SEC.

While I would have preferred that Bama win last night to help the conference recover from the debacles of the rest of the schools not named Arkansas or Texas A&M, I really give zero fricks either way.

this faux flame is weird. There isn't a single thread about Bama one way or another on the A&M board. I'm not sure there has been outside of the week we play them

Not even sure why ULSU fans keep acting like there is. It's truly perplexing

False premise. I don't see any Aggies upset. It would have been nice for the SEC to represent better, but OSU winning also derails the TCU argument some. So it's a net zero.

Many of us are bombarded with pro-big 12 anti SEC propaganda in places like Houston, Dallas, Austin....however, this year, the Big 12 has been complete garbage during bowl season too, outside of TCU, so I personally care less than I normally would about the SECW (outside of the two bell cow programs) going winless during bowl season...
