No Saban team in the past would have lost that game to Ohio st. Saban would have shortened the game, ran out clock and in doing so would have given his defense some rest, he would not have taken as much risks passing with the Buckeyes defense. But that is Saban, who hardly ever loses games like this.

But Kiffin is a cocky little prick who wanted to show his arse, wanted to gun it, he gave up on the run to fast. Most Bama fans will be second guessing this one for a while, but not the prick calling the offense.

Pretty sure Henry was averaging 7 yards a carry.

Kiffin is the only reason Bama isn't undefeated right now. It's almost impressive really.

It was 21-6 I believe...

Fire Kiffen, he took a great heisman QB hopeful from FSU (coker) and had him riding the bench...

That Prick also won us a lot of games this season on top of setting offensive school records, so I agree he should had of tried to run it more, but you also have to give OSU credit for making the plays.

Looked like Bama was running at will too. Basically identical to the OU game last year. Didn't think Saban would allow it to happen again.

Sometimes I hate Les for running it into 10 man fronts all game, but I don't get the philosophy of being balanced just to be balanced.

Bama wins the game if they commit to the run. That trick play/INT deep in OSU territory was the time to pound it. Terrible, terrible call.

I'm shocked Bama blew that lead. I can't figure out what the hell they were doing throwing the ball as much as they did.

bullshite, you could have pounded it between the tackles for 4 quarters every week and made the damn playoff. You have so much more talent than anyone else in this league that it isn't funny. All Kiffin did was give you an incapable QB and tell him to throw it to coop 30 times a game.

Don't abandon what got you to where you are, running the damn football.

It's a double-edged sword. Kiffin is responsible for getting Bama where they're at with his playcalling, while also getting Bama where they're at with the loss.

No reason for Bama not to feature a heavy dose of Henry at that point in the game.

Bama completely mismanaged the final possession.

Ohio State was in an all out prevent and the best Bama could do was a hail marey from mid field after wasting over half the remaining time waiting for play calls and their inability to get out of bounds.

Re said "trick play". Saban did almost the same exact thing against LSU a few yrs ago & that Int cost bama a chance to put that game away, too.

THIS! OHIO St was constantly double teaming Cooper, Bama's defense was starting to lose players, so why in the hell would you not run ball?
