Players you aren't sad to see go

Chris Jones-'thank you God. Seeing him return kicks for 3 years has been enough. Horrible. Weird some see him as one of the best in the nation. Made some good plays but that's what good players who play for Alabama are supposed to do but more often. Try every play.
Leon Brown- mediocre
Brandon Ivory- mediocre

Christion Jones - I agree, he got stagnant, and was never a great receiver. Feel like he got stuck there in 2011 when we had like NO receivers.
DePriest - As good a field-general as he supposedly is, he's sub-par from sideline to sideline.
Vogler - Missed several key perimeter blocks this year, and yes, I understand Tight-Ends probably had the toughest transition to the Kiffin offense (which I'm still on the fence about) but whatever.

22 set the tone last night on the opening kick off when he touched the ball then it feel dead in the end zone and he walked away. His lack of focus told me on that play all I needed to know about the rest of his game for the night. Wont miss him one bit.

Jones is at a level all to his own on this subject. Thankfully the OSU cover guys didn't know the KO return rules. either.

fricking this guy. Still can't believe he was our best option there this year.

Jones is terrible. I refuse to believe that we didn't have better options at kick returner.

first, i do want to say thanks to these guys. they are and forever will be bama family.
however, i wont be sad to see depriest graduate. maybe, just maybe kirby will play somebody that can run now. although i'm not holding my breath.
chris jones, last years va tech game destroyed him mentally, imho. can not believe hes our best option as kick returner after all his fumbles and
basic lack of care in his job.
nick perry, while hes proly a decent kid, he shows up to late in pass attempts to often. run defense did get better, but.......
ivory, not real sure what he even plays. nt that seldom gets on the field. hope the big guy got/gets his degree.
ok, seriously this is a drag. i wish all the departing guys best wishes. but given that we look more like a stallings nobody moves ahead of upper classmen regardless of talent type defense. i doubt it actually helps. y'all get what i mean. we all want the team to be better, but somehow i doubt we improve if we still have lesser talent ahead of talent.

Seriously?
All of these players have contributed to Alabama's success. Sure, some have excelled, while others may have peaked early.
I mean, we all bitch at our kicking game, but we did make the one single most important FG of the season in Baton Rouge.
Kudos to all of our players in 2014, and I look to another excellent 2015.

Yes I saw that. Couldn't believe it.
It was tiresome holding my breath every time he returned expecting him to drop the ball.
Was really hoping he would bring one all the way back for old times sake ,but oh well

Agreed. Ive never been a big Christian Jones fan but he was a contributor who did nothing at all to shame that jersey he wore. Best of luck to all the departing seniors. Glad you chose Bama

Meh. I like all the players, but I'm still glad to see some go. It isn't hating on them. Some of them just didn't have what it takes to be champions.

This. Terrible returner. Can't believe we still had him returning kick offs.
Also, glad to see DePriest go.

None. Only players I'm ever glad to see go are players who hurt the team due to lack of character or being "energy vampires." As per Saban, this team had neither.

I won't be sad not seeing Jones muffing punts or DePriest getting outran.
That's all I can think of for now. I also hope that EJ gets little to no playing time from here on out.

This kind of thread is uncalled for.
