Most of their fanbase expected them to be playing for a title this year after last years miracles only for all that to come crashing down. Gus Bus seems to be stuck in a rut at the moment. Getting beat by a team without a coach. Damn, even lowly LSU beat this Wisconsin team.

Decline is real on the plains.

After they demolished LSU I thought they would win the west and play in the playoffs.

They were a top 3 team at one point, now they are 8-5

Definitely.

8-5 is a terrible job by Gus with what they had coming back.

Gus is fading faster than I thought.

To their own fans, yes. Everybody else knew 2013 was an unsustainable luck driven run. Gus has been exposed.

For me as an Auburn fan yes. I wasn't aware you cared so much but I guess I get the flip for you becoming a fan.

Not really... They easily had the toughest schedule in the SEC by far.

Really the only loss that was surprising was the one to A&M.

Sure, they just lost to Wisconsin, but its a bowl game on NYD.

There was no way we were going to the playoffs with our schedule. With that said, the letdown was pretty impressive. fricking defense.

Yes it is. I too thought we were going to roll after the LSU beatdown when we finally had a complete game. Oh well

LSU tards like you thought you were going to be better than Auburn, yet you got stomped 41-7 and finished with the same record.

Auburn is also improving the weakness of their team by bringing in Muschamp. LSU is weakening the strength of their team by losing Chavis

Gus us trying to do what Bama did with Kiffen. Bring in a failure of a head coach and give him less responsibility. Problem is, Bama had the talent on offense for Kiffin to work with, but Auburn has zero defensive talent for Muschamp. The cupboard is bare.

It really isn't close when compared to pre-season expectations. Complete collapse. However, it's about on par with the Mississippi schools' late-season decline.

Ole Miss started 7-0, then went 2-4.

Miss State started 9-0, then went 1-3.

Auburn started 5-0, then went 3-5.
