Ed O is coming home to LSU. it's the only upgrade in the Chavis fiasco, assuming it comes to fruition. Pendergast and Shoop seem pretty equivalent to Chavis, but Ed O replacing Brick Haley is a monumental upgrade

While Boone didn't give O a fair shake, you can't expect to keep your job when you lose 20 something games and blow a touchdown lead in Starkville

O even seems to acknowledge he had serious growing pains while he was at Ole Miss. That combined with rallying the troops at USC is enough motivation to give being a head coach another try, even though i agree that he's just an elite position coach/recruiter...just trying to empathize for our favorite hummer dealer
slightly off-topic, but sorry about that bowl performance. Freeze needs to make some personnel changes, but I still think he's the answer for Ole Miss

I appreciate the sympathy bro but he's not going to make the changes that we think are necessary. If we come out next year and our offense looks like shite again then the heat rightfully gets turned up. I'm just hoping his contract doesn't turn into another Sexton albatross

Y'all won 9 games with 2 wins against top 10 teams. Don't get greedy..you have a solid coach and recruiter.
You get rid of Freeze after what he has done for OM and you'll end up like our basketball program with the quickness

No one is seriously considering giving up on Freeze. Our offensive line was a weakness and it was exposed all season. A change needs to be made in that regard.

Largely because the dude is LSU to his core. With an open position at LSU, he'd take it. He hummed the LSU fight song while he coached Ole Miss.
And my lulz are directed at the bad board, not at State in general. There were theories that O hated Freeze's guts for begging to have O fired behind his back and all other types of shite flung all across the walls to justify the thought. And they believed it was a done deal before the dude even interviewed. And I'm sorry, but its funny, even if said board is the lowest common denominator.
