Rice, TAMU, Arkansas, and TCU all won.
The only SWC loss was to another SWC team.

Had that poster on my wall growing up.
*a version of it, no UH or Red Raider there.*
Good memories, man. Reall good memories.

I was thinking the same thing last night. It might be the only way Arkansas can be competitive in Football again.

UH was a recent addition to the league. Arkansas has only played UH 18 times in history, compared to UT 78 and A&M 70.

Wasn't Oklahoma a former member?

I have that picture on a postcard.
On a side note I was kind of surprised that the Texas Bowl crowd was a record for attending a college football game in Houston. I would have thought that the years in which the Cougars had a good run in the SWC they would have fielded some big crowds.

They dropped out early. OU was in the SWC from 1915-1919. Nobody counts them or Phillips College.

They and Oklahoma A&M were in it for a couple seasons then left to form the big8 because they couldn't compete.
