247 bolt thread has melting inside. Let the news spread a little and every armchair AD in the state will melt because we lost RS and hired a guy who got fires at Cal. Throw in Dinson saying he wasn't interested anymore, Graham on shaky ground, and Redwine saying he was out.

Shits boit to start poppin just wait and see

After the Smith hiring I have complete faith in Bert's choices.

As you should. How can anyone know more than the coach and why would he hire someone terrible? That would be bad for his own future so it behooves him to make the best hire he can.

Sounds good to me. I remember him being a popular choice before RS was hired. Can he croot though?

If this is true, Bret has worked directly with the guy, he knows what he can do.

We have seen that Bret isn't afraid to give an assistant coach his walking papers if he isn't cut out for the job. I doubt he would bring in a coach so quickly that he didn't have complete confidence in.

Melting over what?

A guy who has been the DC at 3 different programs?

Replacing a guy who had disappeared this season, a guy who we saw drop off in recruiting worth once Partridge left?

This is would be a very solid hire, upgrade actually, but he doesn't have the name recognition.

Well you know how part of our fanbase is, no big name equals melt.

We will probably lose some of the Florida guys we are on but thats part of the game. I have seen enough of berts hiring to have faith in him.

That didn't happen because during the hiring Cal called with the DC job. Totally different situation

as I posted in the other thread, there will be melts....

I am not one of those, however how is he at crutin?

We need to keep the florida pipeline open, or so I believe.

Perhaps there are more changes to come?

As good as Shannon, who is vastly over rated in this area, when examining the data.

Very possible. Changes large enough no one will be talking about Coach Boo...

Morons on Hogville need access to an exclusive tool called Google. Buh is a solid hire.

As for his 'crootin, he recruited Shayne Skov and Chase Thomas to Stanford, and that was when they were terrible. I'll take it.
