Where have we heard this before about a Todd Grantham D?

That deep ball to Conley that was basically a completely blown assignment brought me tears of joy. The sad thing is, if Mason hadn't left the game I'm guessing we would have put up a lot more passing yards. He was starting to hit his groove on the short - intermediate game before he went out in the 2nd.

The 4th and 1 was beautiful as well (even though you really can't pin that on Grantham). We had a few runs to convert 3rd and 8 or so if I remember correctly as well. And I really wanted Chubb to score on that 82yd run from our 1, would've been Nebraska all over again for Grantham

Even though Pruitt had a similar 3rd down percentage this year as Grantham did in 2013, we always seemed to give them up in absolutely back breaking situations in 2013. Much less so this year.

That 3rd and 20 from Pruitt was also a huge brain fart.

The huge difference is how each defense faired in 3rd and long. Seems like if it was 3rd and 7+ under Grantham, there was a 90% chance that they would convert. Under Pruitt those 3rd and long conversions seemed way lower.

Are you talking about the one on our end? That was just poor tacking.

Very Grantham-esque, you might say. Poor tackling. Parker is a great WR, but no one should break that many tackles.

Yea, I was having a fit over that one. We had no one close enough to their best receiver to make an immediate tackle and missed a ton of tackles across the middle allowing him to pick up first down yardage. Unbelievable!!

Yea that one was frustrating, Parker is a stud though and he got some really nice blocks. Not excusing the play but UL executed it really well too
