Keep holding on to hope... for a coach you don't want... right?

at his point, I think the damage has been done. i say let him go. If LSU finds themselves down by a score with 6 minutes to go against A&M in the future, they know what it takes to beat his soft zone all the way down the field

frick him. He can take his soft shite to A&M. He can constantly lose field position, and lose games for them now.

Dude, I hope he stays. Your program is mediocre with him, hate to see it with him gone.

Talks between A&M and Chavis escalated earlier this week, and news that he might not be flying with the team is a sign that he may already have made a decision to leave Baton Rouge for College Station, Texas

The guy is an outstanding defensive coach. All the other garbage is just folks in their feelings. ATM should be happy if they lure him to CS. LSU should also not be alarmed since they control who replaces Mr. Chavis.

Does LSU even know how to throw a vertical pass?

He is in a tough spot

My dad's two rules on employment

Never leave because of more money, it never works out

Have fun on your job, if you cannot enjoy yourself then it is time to leave

It's not so much that I want Chief to stay, as it is I don't want the Aggies to get who they want. Is that so wrong?

Just think about all the players Chavis has coached up and how losing will affect recruiting
