Two angles.
One he DEFINITIVELY broke the plane.
The other his knee is still up after that point.
But it's LSU. We get one of those every big game.

Holy shite, what a bunch of morons. You could clearly see the ball break the plane, then the knee came into view, not down. frick ND.

It takes 2 angles, but....

The ball crossed the plane before it started its downward motion.

In the second angle, the knee was not down until after the ball started its downward motion.

Should have been TD

Am I missing something? Why was that not a TD?

From the one angle you could clearly see that the knee did not make contact with the ground, until the ball hit the turf. From the other camera shot, the ball clearly crossed the plane of the goal line, prior to hitting the ground.

It was very obvious, to me, that it should have been a TD.

Serious question - was it a TD? I am sitting right above LSU players entrance to field and I thought he was stopped short

I'm loving that the Alabama fans can see bad calls when the opponent is Notre Dame

I dont really think they needed to.

You could clearly see where his knees were from the side angle as he dove.

They probably didn't overturn it b/c from the endzone view it looked like the ball may have not broke the goal line. (which sucks if so b/c thats a shitty angle to base it off of)
