Why hasn't John Chavis signed the extension to stay with LSU?

I understand this is a troll but I will answer anyway.

He doesn't have a clause on his proposed contract that secures him his job regardless if the head coach leaves or stays. He doesn't plan on going anywhere and likes everything else about the extension. The consensus was he wanted to be assured a job at LSU if Les left for Michigan or retired. He isn't going to Michigan obviously now, so I'm not sure how this changes things.

He's going to be the DC at Michigan.

With Harbaugh.

LSU stuck w/ miles and no elite DC.

The TexAgs Zoo response:

"Because he loves A&M and wants to coach there, and retire there, and die there, and be buried next to the dog graves. He is just waiting for the right time to announce his move up the coaching latter. We are going to win the Natty ext year. The SEC is already out bitch."

Blind optimism is bliss!!!

Yes. Sadly, he will be the next coach in a long line of coaches to get a raise or otherwise improve his situation using Aggies like the cheap hookers we are.

Indians are understandably hesitant about contracts with the man.
