One natty and two SEC championships and consistently develops players for NFL.....hmmmmm....sure sounds like the worst. If I were a recruit I know I wouldn't want to play for a coach who might get me in the NFL. I'd rather play for all those other SEC coaches who have never won anything and don't develop NFL players, and there are so many great ones to choose from!

I think most other coaches with this talent and our OC and DC would do better. Especially with qb play. Miles is not the worst but clearly not the best

Every Bama fan I know has the ultimate amount of respect for Les. Yeah, he's weird and he can't coach a QB but Bama always has a tough game with LSU. If he has a flaw, other than developing a QB, it's focusing too much on us. It's like beat Bama or have a shitty season. And then we still win 4 in a row while Les also gets beat by Arkansas type teams.

Is Les Miles THE WORST coach in the SEC/NCAA?

Uh. Yeah. He's the worst coach.

*He's one of the top 3 winningest CFB coaches in the last decade.
*He's averaged 10 wins a year.
*He's got a 6-3 bowl record (going into tomorrow). 2-1 BCS bowl record
*He's 3-6 vs Saban, but has been competitive with Saban with a chance to win in all but 2 of those 9 games.
*No other coach or program has been as competitive with Saban and Alabama during their current run.
*That includes recruiting. Miles has Top 5 classes nearly every year, including several Top 3 classes (#2 last year.)
He has signed Josh Williford, Jamarcus Russell, Kwon Alexander, Kendrick Allen, and several others out of Alabama.
*He has had five Top 10 teams and three Top 3 teams in his decade in Baton Rouge.
*LSU is the winningest SEC team in the last decade.

But, he's the worst coach.

If the 'LSU talent' is so great every year, why couldn't Archer, Hallman, and Dinardo do what Miles has done ?????????????????????????

Dinardo actually had more of his LSU players drafted than Saban's LSU players......

Les Miles is very polarizing. Some LSU fans love him and defend his record, or other LSU fans hate his style, lack of QB development, and think we could do better. I think it is about 60/40 split in favor of Les.

Not the worst. I look at it as he is the best at underachieving in the area of winning championships.

And they're probably all right. He deserves praise for his record and success, but he also deserves criticism for his missed opportunities, on-the-field blunders, and mis-management of the offense/QBs. I also believe that we'd feel much better about Les if Saban were still in Miami and Alabama was just another contending SEC West team instead of consistently winning championships.

but now is losing top talent to Bama, Auburn and A&M of late.

I didn't think Auburn did much in LA. Other than Duke Williams and Trovon Reed, are there any other players from LA on the team?
