Signature win? Jesus they aren't ranked. I know it's a name team, but that's just a good/decent win. Not to mention they got beat by 40 their last timeout.

Considering the potential emotional letdown left in the wake of the WSU loss I'd say any wins are great at this point. That loss was brutal and could have been devastating to the season.

First signature win I've ever seen against a team that couldn't dribble the ball up the court. UCLA is frickawful.

Lol at the dumb Bama fans thinking they're too good for a win vs UCLA... for only the 2nd time in school history. Our last 4 games including Wichita we made the other teams' offense look bad. We are back to a Grant defense... unfortunately that comes with a Grant offense.. I know it's unpopular to be happy about a Bama win but, what the heck?

No one said Bama was too good for this win? It's just not a signature win. Beating an RPI top 25 team would be a signature win.

Outside of UK I don't think anyone in the SEC has an overly impressive win against a P5 team. However, the SEC has grabbed a respectable number of victories over some of them. SC has big wins over Ok.State and Clemson and still has Iowa St. on the docket. I know 3 other teams won in the Big 12 challenge, 'Bama got this UCLA victory, and there are a few others. Someone recently won in PAC-12 country too right?

I agree with OP.

Regardless of how bad UCLA is right now, it's a big win for a program like Alabama

LMBO that schedule is brutal.. is this supposed to be proof that they aren't any good? 3 of UCLA's 5 losses were to top 10 teams... They haven't lost any games they shouldn't have... ONLY UK in the SEC would have a better record against that schedule.

Signature win? ROFL

UCLA currently has a 115 RPI, has been beaten by each legit team they've played by 10+.

This win improved Bama's RPI standing from 63 to 46, so it was beneficial.

On a side note, it is very strange to see UF outside the top 100 in RPI.

Losing to the #11 team on the road keeps you out of the tournament?

That along with not beating a good team and not beating any teams on the road will keep us out. Different year, same shite.

With a 46 RPI going into conference play, 11-7 or perhaps even 10-8 in conference play and avoiding a complete flameout in the SEC tourney should get you in.
