I have been told that tension is significant. Like, anything is possible significant. If you do not beleive this, that is fine. It won't hurt my feelings.

Presser Tuesday? Cracker, did you post that thing reddit college football suggesting that the staff is pissed that McG didn't counter Bobo's offer? And that McGarity wants Mullen or Smart?

Cause I don't want Mullen but I am ok with Smart. But I also like sweet recruiting classes.

frick McGarity, seriously, what has he done for the program. I guarantee Richt was the one selling Pruit and others to come to UGA.

I'll try and find the post but it echoes your sentiments. The people I know and have talked to say there may be tension but not AS bad as we are hearing. But we do keep hearing it.

I feel like the money loves Richt and the school is all about saving money and is pro McGarity. I feel like McGarity is an a-hole but he is only a puppet of the whole program and their desire to pay nothing

The Reddit post

It's written by a guy who hates sentence structure but this is the post

quote:

If anyone knows Kevin Weakley, he has his own facebook group and is well known for having sources and insiders in the Georgia program. He recently posted this and honestly it pisses me off. This AD needs to go.
Trouble in paradise... I mentioned this in another note, but will try and give some insight regarding some of the issues in BM. While I do not like to drop the "insiders" line, and I have done so very little over the years, with CMB now gone, I am not as hesitant to share. The points below are real and our program is at a turning point, with ADGM really the issue, and has been for a while. I know I have been a lukewarm supporter of the athletic department (I guess more of a Disney regarding the football program) and not quick to lay blame at ADGM's feet, but based on information received today, my opinion is changed and I truly think he is a cancer to our long term success in football. - ADGM has tried to take all power from the football program away from CMR. Obviously not providing needed resources. ADGM is calling the shots by withholding resources and forcing his will on the entire program. - He did not allow CMR to counter CMB. Fact: If we had countered with CJP money and a 2 year deal, CMB would not have even interviewed with CSU. No counter was a sign of total disrespect, so he took the opportunity to move forward. - ADGM has an issue with CMR and is trying to force him to leave so he does not come across as the bad guy. Nothing to do with performance, more about the fact CMR apparently is not quite the a$$ kisser many on the board say he is. - The situation is so bad. it would not be surprising to see CMR walk away after the bowl if ADGM is to be with UGA long run. - ADGM seems to want Mullen as his HC and if that doesn't work, he will try and get Kirby should CMR step down. CMB was well aware of this and without the respect noted above, had no reason to wait around for a job ADGM was not gonna let him earn. - If we let Pruett get on the plane and interview with TA&M, he is as good as gone. We need to lock him down before he goes. - There are rumblings BMAC is even considering overtures from UF. That happens, our recruiting class is in trouble. But this is how bad it has gotten. - There is tension among the entire staff as they are all upset with the lack of effort in trying to keep CMB (all with ADGM and not CMR) and feel the lack of support will prevent UGA from taking the steps needed to succeed. - If ADGM survives, we will see a lot of new faces in BM over the next year, as the current staff will not remain in tact with him in a leadership role. CMR and CJP are aligned with their positions so the talk about an issue between them does not appear to be accurate. I know some will pass this off as another poster claiming inside information and if so, that is your prerogative. However, I was given this detail by someone about as close to the CMB situation as you can get and felt it was important for the dawg nation to really understand the position ADGM seems to be willing to put the program in to get what he wants. Really sad example of what a leader should be.12/23 11:14 PM | IP: Logged From :: a Dawg Insider

I mean I think it's somewhere in between. Richt got in trouble for paying coaches out of pocket in 2011. Pruitt called the AD out with the IPF rhetoric. Rumors don't come from nothing. But I am not sure we are gonna have a new HC in 2015.

If there is a war, well, it's weird to say but I want Richt to win. I want to gut the athletic department and McGarity and put an AD in of the boosters choosing. One that will force UGA to commit. Otherwise we will fade even further.

What I have heard, from my limited sources, is Pruitt wants to stick with UGA but hey, if the AD forces his hand. We just need the fans to win this battle. The school doesn't want to commit.

No, but that situation took a turn after he told me that and it is part of the build up to this situation. He is at the Bowl game now and I haven't bothered him.

Not saying it's true...but the reddit post is very similar to what a buddy gleaned away from other folks supposedly close to the program.

Again...if nothing else there's an arse load of smoke and it's all the same color...

Could be some fireworks after the Bowl.

I am not an insider. I know people who are and I post, sometimes, what I am told here.

I think so too. I am with you, squatch. I am not sure how much is true and how much will happen but something is going down. And these rumors keep popping up everywhere. I mean, shite, usually these rumors happen and fade but these are building to the point that beat writers are having to respond.

Granted, Emerson has said it was BS but they are having to react.

If this shits going on then something has to give. Itll kill the program if the AD is trying to starve CMR out. Either give the program the resources the coaches want and need to let them survive or fail on their own merit OR have the balls to fire his arse and back your decision to the president and BOR.

Too many pussies in this world...
