ok, here goes. most of us are very happy indeed that Mizzou has joined our conference. we are overjoyed that y'all have enjoyed success in your first few years in the conference and we hope to see y'all continue. we needed some intelligent Yankees to help us and guide us out of the wilderness and we are just damn lucky we were able to net Mizzou. your outstanding success in football is inspiring and we feel confident that it's just a matter of time that you elevate your performance in other sports, esp baseball and basketball. we know you have an outstanding journalism school and just wonder what else ya got? maybe we'll find out soon enough, esp with prolific posters such as yourself.

Because ya'll are carpet baggers - you see opportunity, you pursue "it", but don't embrace the people and culture which provides said opportunity.
Your comments on marrying a "doctor" (mizzou) instead of another Southern blah blah speaks volumes ....

I don't know man, alot of your own kind (southerners) in another thread are trashing New Orleans culture (which is southern and unique in itself) but I've certainly embraced it. The problem we have here is southerners seem to talk out of both sides of their mouths depending on which is more convenient.

Good lord ... really? Sounds like pot and kettle, sir. And to clarify ...New Orleans is a tad Southwest, they see themselves as their own thing. Talkin Deep South ... (but N.O. is all right by me!)

Not the talk coming from the Rant when we initially joined the SEC. It was "we are going to be arse raped", "we are going to get our shite pushed in", "Insert SEC team is going in dry on us" etc....didn't really materialize.
Listen, I don't claim we are a powerhouse, maybe the 5th or 6th best program in the SEC. Far from being a cellar dweller like you guys were telling us we were going to be. Now you guys are moving the goal posts to fit whatever you want us made out to be.
So yeah, by all means, elaborate...

We are an SEC powerhouse and southerners hate it because it doesn't fit their narrative. Southerners didn't do their research on Mizzou when we joined. Shocked.

You fricking choke in big games. You did it in the BIG XII and you have done it in the SEC. You haven't won a conference title since 1960. You fricking choked in 2007 to Oklahoma and really got your shite pushed in in 2008 by Oklahoma again. I won't even talk about how you looked against Auburn and Alabama when it mattered. It's hard to take a program serious that can't handle the pressure of winning a big game.
