revisionist history much? Dodd saw what the SEC was turning into. He did the right thing for the program and the student athletes, present and future. Your conference is going to run out of steam eventually.

Tech left the SEC @ 27-27-5 against rival Georgia. In the 50 years since, you've gone 13-37 against them. There is no more clear indication of what leaving the SEC cost you.

The East is already in shambles. The last 2 of 3 division championships have been won by a Big 12 also-ran that joined the conference 3 years ago. The west has one truly "great" team, but great without any real OOC tests. We'll see how the playoff pans out. I'm just not buying the hype.

I really hate State drew y'all for such a prestigious bowl, because y'all run the same offense Ole Miss used when we were a powerhouse, and you can't win a bowl game to save your lives.

This is really our first season with a true option QB. Believe me, we're well aware of how things have looked over the past six bowls. If we lay an egg on Wednesday, we'll know whether or not this thing works. The truth is our defenses have been the Achilles heel moreso than the offense. Roof finally figured some things out after that atrocious loss to UNC. Since then, he's compensated for the attrition we were dealt on the D-line. We thought we were done when Snoddy and Smealter got hurt, but still managed to beat UGAg and play F$U right til the end. This year's team has surpassed all of our expectations - they don't quit. MSU is going to have to play a perfect game to beat us on Wed.

The West is still currently undefeated against OOC teams this year.
