It should be good for you guys was suppose to visit jan 17, but wont because he wants to early enroll; which if he does go to UT im sure Phillips will follow suit at the army game

Where did you hear that he canceled the LSU and still plans to EE?
If true then that's huge for us. He hasn't visited LSU since last summer right?

I didnt hear that he canceled but our 247 guys say he still wants to early enroll

He hasn't canceled his OV. He's got it backwards. Amadi is actually reconsidering his plans to EE since he wants to visit LSU. Most of us feel he's gonna pick LSU because of this.

How will he EE and still take an OV in mid January? Not being a smartass but that confuses me.

He's reconsidering his plans to EE, per the BobBarker

Also, LSU plays in Nashville on the 30th. Might be more then a coincidence, though I doubt it.

Our EE date is after the 16th.

Maybe i interperted differently but this is what i read.
quote:
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Amadi decommitted from Ole Miss on Dec. 13 after being committed to the Rebels for almost nine months. He's planning to be an early enrollee at the college of his choice, and he had discussed waiting to take an official visit to LSU in January before announcing his decision. He took an official visit to Tennessee in November.

According to Ryan Callahan, LSU's semester starts a little later than Tennessee's. Still, he's cutting it pretty close if he decides to go through with his OV then decide to attend UTe.

Update from Ryan Callahan
quote:
Not sure yet. But this probably shouldn't be viewed as a bad development for Tennessee. On the surface, this would seem to help the Vols' chances quite a bit, considering that his parents never have been to LSU.
quote:
Still looking into it, so I can't say for sure what this might mean for Tennessee. But this definitely can't be considered a bad thing for the Vols. If he had waited to take an official visit to LSU, you would have to think that would have swung the momentum toward the Tigers. This seemingly gives UT a much better chance of landing him.

That's pretty much how I feel about his decision to announce Tuesday.

Lots of stuff in this kids recruitment. Too many variables. Right now I'd guess he commits to Tennessee just based off the timing of this whole thing.

Going to be interesting to see this one play out, no doubt.
