Did he play against UF as a Freshman? I can't remember. I know he and Brandon Stewart split time after the starter went down.

Yes he played a little I think. He was 0-4, 0-3 as a starter.

I just looked it up, he didn't play his first snap until the Mississippi State game.

So 0-3, but does it really make a difference?

Danny Weurffel was the best college quarterback that I've ever seen. No one could fit the football in there like Danny Weurffel.

And Peyton Manning has been a terrible choker since college.

Except for that whole AFC Championship comeback victory against the Pats and subsequent Super Bowl victory.

Peyton put up gaudy stats against the Gators but Spurrier would run 5-wide sets and the Vols wouldn't sub in another DB.

He really is. The dude just can't handle adversity, everything has to go his way or he folds like a cheap suit.

He has more 4th quarter comebacks than anyone in the history of the NFL by a wide margin. So, yeah, you don't know your arse from a hole in the ground.

Playing well and bringing your team back in the 4th quarter is when it matters most.

Agreed, if you couldn't beat Florida in 2014, it's just not in the cards for the next couple of years.
