Where you staying this weekend?

How many of you plan to sit in the lobby of that hotel and drink until you set a record for most alcohol sold during a weekend?

Are you still allowed to have open containers in a moving vehicle as long as they are not for the driver in Texas?

Yes, and you are encouraged to show them to every cop you pass.

When I lived there it was legal to drink and drive, just could not be drunk. Directions were given in number of beers, as in - how far to Waco. Four beer drive. Of course the drinking age was 18.

Yeah, I heard they changed the law to where everyone but the driver could be drinking after the lobbyist like MADD got their way.

Just checking to see if any of the Texans around know if it has again changed.
