I know we ve had this thread before but I Just watched a documentary on it on Netflix and it made a pretty good argument for a missile/lots of corruption/cover ups
That being said problem with these documentaries is I can never tell how unbiased they are, this one certainly seems at least a little slanted but who knows
I usually am anti conspiracy theories so I'm just gonna say it was an accidental explosion in the plane that looks suspicious bc of some shitty investigating work
ETA: just saw the list of ppl who declined to be interviewed for this documentary, what a joke. They literally asked every government official of any prominence for an interview including President Bill Clinton then tried to make them look bad by showing they declined it
Like a former POTUS/secretary of defense & State is gonna be interviewed for your half crazy film

I think you're confused with the one that happened in the 80s, this happened in 1996

I think Hunter was on the right track with the guy just wrong meme
It was clearly part of an elaborate alien scheme that will likely play out over 100s of years, the Malaysian flight was a victim of it as well. As long with Amielia Earhart (Sp?) and any plane/boat ever lost in the Bermuda Triangle

Come on guys, this could be a thought provoking thread full of discussion that has NOTHING to do with atheism unless someone thinks the alien theory proves God isn't real or that maybe the aliens are "God" which could in turn prov...........well shite never mind.
I guess everything involves atheism

I'm more inclined to go with this. I read somewhere that apparently they still use the wreckage to train inspection personnel.

These are internal metaphysical debates that every human must rationalize personally. You can't convince someone else.

From Wikipedia:
The four-year NTSB investigation concluded with the approval of the Aircraft Accident Report on August 23, 2000, ending the most extensive, complex, and costly air disaster investigation in U.S. history.[8][9] The report's conclusion was that the probable cause of the accident was an explosion of flammable fuel/air vapors in a fuel tank, and, although it could not be determined with certainty, the most likely cause of the explosion was a short circuit.[10] As a result of the investigation, new requirements were developed for aircraft to prevent future fuel tank explosions.[11]
I agree with the NTSB's conclusion.

So what about all the witnesses who claim to have seen a light traveling from low altitude towards the plane?
Some even say they saw it turn towards the plane
Some even say they saw it turn towards the plane

The idea that the middle fuel tank exploded is just silly from an engineering standpoint.
They didn't even bother to come up with a decent bs reason
