7 point win over a vandy win that was losing every sec game by 3-4 touchdowns.
Scored 9 points against Florida in an embarrassing loss to a bad bad team.
Blown out by Missouri
Blown out by Ole Miss
Blown out by Alabama
If it wasn't for South Carolina's bad defense, this would have been a derek dooley-esque season.

Ole Miss was the only blowout. Unless you count an 8 point loss and a 14 point loss as blowouts.

Now, to answer the OP's question, I actually don't mind if UT fans are getting excited. They should have a much better offense next season, with Dobbs having a year under his belt and the receivers and RBs being pretty healthy (or so they hope.) No point in getting cocky -- Butch has yet to prove himself capable of getting over the hump at UT -- but optimism is warranted

Optimism is cool. They have recruited well and have a solid D. However, being delusional is not. They won't do anything until that oline is fixed and BUTCH learns to call a game to at least Miles level.

While that is all true, I agree about the oline.
Look, I'm not 100% sold on Jones either, but he's recruited like a boss and given the situation he walked into he's met expectations. Next year will be a defining year, and while I don't expect to win the East, I do expect to win 8 games at a minimum.

I can respect your honesty. My kids are really smart but a tad spoiled by their Mother. Far too often the little cocksuckers think what is mine is theirs. That being said I guess I am a bad parent in the fact that they haven't learned a work ethic via osmosis yet! I mean why the frick do they have to get the new iWhatever every time Apple releases it?
