Just want to wish all the Hogs here a very merry Christmas. I hope Santa brings you everything you want (even if some don't deserve it) ... And for those of you making the trip to Houston in a few days to watch the Razorbacks kick the shite outta the horns, safe travels & call 'em loud!!! WPS!!!

Nah, an ugly arse Santa and reindeer tie that my 3 year old nephew picked out last year for me. He likes it so I'm gonna rock it for him.

The packages are wrapped, the cookies are baked, the stock for the gumbo is simmering, the dogs are asleep at my feet and I'm kicked back, relaxing until the Christmas Eve service tonight. Life's good!
Just got a call from my SIL and she's still out shopping!

Merry Christmas All!
It's going to be a weird one for me, my mom is sick (not deathly just cold/virus something) so the tradition of going to her house tonight for prime rib etc and then gifting and then going to midnight mass is not going to happen now. We'll do the food and gifts this weekend sometime when she's feeling better. Tonight will be a quiet one at the house with just us.

I hope your mom feels better soon. We'll be having most of our Christmas activities with family this weekend as well. We're traveling tomorrow, which I hate, but just how it worked out. Oh well, that just means Christmas will last longer!!

I've created a minor family scandal this year by not going to my aunt's house for Christmas Eve. My family all got together at my other aunt's house last week and we're getting together at my grandparents tomorrow. In order to preserve Mr. Piggy's sanity, I bowed out of tonight's festivities. My family is slightly Christmas crazy!

Well, the tree stays up all year for that purpose, I have to be careful around Christmas,, after all, liquid and lectricity don't go well together.
