I am really glad he didn't come to Arkansas.

It's sad. I won't be surprised for people to ridicule the kid but to see someone blow so many opportunities is tough

Get your point, and odds might be low... but maybe things would have worked out better for him. Maybe.

Maaaybe. But how many times did lightning strike? Makes me think it has something to do with his character.

Meh, he would've been closer to home, which likely would've meant closer to trouble, but then again he didn't have too difficult a time getting into trouble far away at Auburn. Who knows, but as many times and as many places as he's screwed up, it would've been inevitable. Guys like him and Ryan Kelly -- to cite a current situation -- don't change.

Exactly this. You only get so many chances and for him to have as many as he did is generous.
Maybe an NFL team will take a risk and pick him up as a free agent but I wouldn't take it to the bank.

Even if he were to make an NFL roster, he'd frick it up. And lets quit acting like he's a kid still, dudes like 25 isn't he?

Sort of feel bad for Dyer.
Yes, he has made mistakes and we all laughed, but from all indications he had good support to turn things around. I know Fitz Hill had really helped the guy and they had done quite a bit of work to find the right fit for Dyer on what college to attend.
They found that in Charlie Strong at Louisville. Unfortunately, Dyer couldn't transfer and follow him to Texas and was stuck playing under a coach he had no desire to play for.
I'm surprised he lasted this long with Petrino, to be honest.

Some kids are just snake bit when it comes to college. I hope he gets his life together and gets a shot at the NFL.

He will end up back in LR, Waiting tables, Valet Parking, and slinging X.

One thing Petrino knew was questionable character. A psychopath like him could likely sniff out bulkshit from kids a mile away.
Kids that were hell raisers often end up being good parents because they were better at bullshite than their kids are.
