He looks so awkward out there. Kid needs to lose the high ankle socks and even go low cut or leg sleeves. Dude looks like he's about to go on a nature walk.

His mamma call him Kenneth, Ima call him Kenneth.

Also, he seems not to like the name and I don't like the way he plays basketball most of the time.

Which surprisingly is a huge upgrade from where he was games 1-5 in which he was super awkward

Don't you hate on nerdy bball attire bro. My goggles, tube socks and my Shaqnosis shoes would absolutely own you in BBall.

I am excited to see TJ Lang out there. While he hasn't put up the stats, he looks more comfortable and he seems to try and make hustle plays and sneak in for chances at offensive rebounds.
I agree. He likely won't look good this year, but I think getting more and more pt now will set him up for success next year.

I like his game. It is just still in transition mode from hs to college level.

He's got a good shot motion. You can tell he just isn't up to speed yet. That 3 of his that got blocked against Arky was bad

ETA: I just went back and watched some of his HS film. I figured out why he is playing so awkward. It is the socks. I knew it.

If he practices like his style of play, hustling for everything and doing the small things, he could end up being a really crucial piece for us.

People underestimate the roll players, especially at the college level.

Bruce bringing the heat in this article.

quote:

"I'm not happy with our record," Pearl said. "I've never had a losing season and this has a chance to be the first losing season I've ever had but I'm not unhappy with my players. I'm not unhappy with their effort. I'm not unhappy with their preparation and I'm not unhappy with the way they're cmpeting. The reality is this is a program we inherited and we're going to grow and go from here. There wasn't much I could do since I got the job, other than bring in Bowers and bring in Mason, bring in K.C. Ross-Miller and bring in a few guys that can at least not have us be an embarrassment, which is what this year could have been for Auburn basketball. And thanks to the efforts to KT Harrell, Tahj Shamsid-Deen, Jordon Granger, Malcolm Canada, our record isn't very good but these guys have nothing to hang their head on."

I am proud of what he as done so far. Laying the foundation for a winning program.

Just gotta get Horace Spencer signed in a couple months or the resurgence will take a bit longer than some of us hoped

Down 2 starters on a team without much depth on the road at a top 25 rpi team today. Any chance something weird happens and we pull the upset.

The fact we beat LSU shows we're capable of winning in Athens. But with Tahj and Antoine absent, it'll obviously be more difficult.

Like LSU, I'd like just for us to keep in close, and see what happens in the end.

I don't think our resurgence will take that long. The team we're playing with mostly consists of leftover recruits with the exception of Cim, Antoine, and KT. KT is only here on his decision. It's not like Barbee had anything to do with it.

If Reed can mature on the court, and these new guys show some effort and decent basketball IQ, we'll be fine.

We have a shot but need Bowers to not miss around the rim and for KC to care like he did vs Arky.

If those things happen we have a shot.

ETA not a good shot just a shot ha

To me, it seems like KC might be the factor for us. Will he be the turnover machine or will ge give a damn like he showed against Arky? We'll see, but I don't want to be dropping swear words on Valentine's Day due to his stupid play.

Did we redshirt Jack Purchase?

I think they're going to try and redshirt him. I don't see how they accomplish that though. I thought he's played too much.

Any hammering at all takes away a redshirt unless there is a medical issue that prevents the player from playing. He just got buried on the depth chart behind Granger, Thompson and Canada (who has been playing the 4 some).
