When posed a question with the hypothetical situation Barkley said, "Sure. I would do it if my college asked me for money to help recruit a player."

Barkley said he doesn't have a lot of respect for the NCAA right now, and thinks the association should be more worried about academic allegations at places like North Carolina than kids getting paid to commit to a school.

Wonder if he'd give a booster $180,000?

So? Some South Carolina boosters would obviously do the same thing since Stephen Garcia claims to have seen it personally

Sir Charles is smart.

Errrrrbody pays kids to play.

If you think otherwise, you have never visited a college campus.

Sir Charles lived in Phoenix, Arizona last I heard. Maybe he can make a delivery to Christian Kirk before it is too late

Does he not realize these two things go hand in hand? The term student athlete is a joke nowadays.

I've lost all respect for Barkley now. That's barely half a Newton (henceforth, all under-the-table payments shall be measured in Newtons. Physics shall have to find a new term for measuring force.)

Why is Barkley such a skinflint?

Charles wasnt involved in that. bagman network at Auburn is much more discrete than to get money from high profile folks.

Barkley along with Cam (took me a bit) are the two I love from our arch rival.
