Well in that case, the Just-Pruitt Fanboys pledge their unwavering support and loyalty to the hire then.

Lincoln Riley
Offensive coordinator, East Carolina
This could be one of the more intriguing options out there this offseason. Riley is an up-and-comer in his early 30s who has getting a lot of buzz and attention on a regional and national level. He has been at ECU since Jan. 2010, building the Pirates' offense into one of the nation's best. ECU currently ranks fifth nationally with 532.8 yards per game. The drawback from UGA's perspective could be that he's more of a spread coach than the offense the Bulldogs have been accustomed to using. Riley coaches seven seasons at Texas Tech prior to his time at ECU, which is actually where Richt served one season as offensive coordinator way back in 1989.

Need a run 1st, pass 2nd coordinator. UGA's recruited and established themselves to be a power football team. I don't necessarily believe it would be wise to change what's not broken.

I'd be happier with the PBR tbh

CMR to OC and Ole' Ball Sack as HC. We win NC's 'til we catch Bama.

What's wrong with the offense we ran this year? Why change it when it's been overly successful?

With or without Bobo, Richt says he 'has a plan'
He's too lazy to do anything but ask for Pruitt's advice
Nussmeier it is

Maybe this is why they didn't go all out for the new s&c coach, they knew they were going to have to throw the kitchen sink at the new oc.

We would murder teams with this guy but its not gonna happen.
We're gonna have to get a pro style guy...And I can't really think of any right now that I would be super enthusiastic about..
I wouldn't be surprised to just see CMR take the reins one more time and grab a solid QB coach / Recruiter type + filling the positions Bobo takes with him...
We shall see though.

...I want him. He runs pistol. So much pistol.

Rusty is saying as of now, he's hearing Will Friend and Ronnie Letson (player personnel) are the two going with him. Also says he's hearing some interesting non-UGA names. Richt being as loyal as he is, does he go with an outside guy that's going to want to bring his own staff, and possibly lose Bmac, Ball, and Lily? IMO, I think Bmac or Ball is promoted to OC, Inman coaches OL, and Richt hires a QB coach or (doubtful) a special teams coordinator.

Is anyone else hearing Pruitt to A&M scuttlebutt?

Despite the fact that Bobo really developed into a great OC, his first 4+ years were rougher. We are pretty much guaranteed to take a step back as far as production if we promote from within (doesn't mean the coach won't become a really good OC but you don't become one overnight). That could cause a lot of turmoil and even more negativity.
Worst case scenario is we go cheap, get an unqualified OC, and lose McClendon and others in the process.
That being said, it'll come down to what's cheapest
