Let me clarify...

..:this is the caliber of hire I expect...especially since it's CMR's system and its not going to change. I also would expect it to be a OC in training, QB coach type role. No way we go out and get a hardcore OC. If we did I'd be shocked....save yourselves the disappointment.

I swear to Christ... if Randy Shannon is a candidate, I'll kick the living shite out of my dog.

If we hire a LB coach as OC, then I'll savagely murder all of my dogs.

I just feel like we are all going to be underwhelmed by the hire.

Pruitt was cool because he just won a title. Probably aren't going to get that this time.

I hate this part of being a fan.

Glenn Thomas might be available if Smitty gets fired. NFL QB coordinator experience might keep Eason in the fold.

New coach shopping is exciting except when you're a uga fan.

Is it gonna piss you off a little when McGarity ends up spending more to replace Bobo than it would have cost to keep him?...

The Georgia Way....

Any chance Sean Payton gets fired and wants to be our OC next year?

That is very likely.

Hopefully Pruitt will have a big say so in the new OC.

Not sure if serious....

But only Tennessee can have these discussions. I mean Jon Gruden wanted to be their QB coach and they turned him down.

I'm sorry but you've got to draw the line somewhere. Pruitt is the DC, stick to defense, recruiting, and raising hell about and IPF. Let Mark hire his guy.

Better...but my eyes are still bleeding.

I absolutely agree that we should expect to be underwhelmed at the future hire. That is Richt's coordinator MO, outside of the Pruitt hire. Richt needs someone on O that will do things his way. I absolutely believe that he never gave Bobo full control of the offense, and will never do so for another...

frick that, let HC/AD Pruitt do it. And I am being serious. Richt probably is out of energy to fight the cheap asses.

Let Pruitt lead the search and save our mortal souls

So our AD opted to spin the wheel instead of trying to buy a vowel? Awesome.

Any chance David Greene would take the job? He's about the only guy that I think we'd actually approach that I could feel excited about. Of course...I have no idea if he even wants a coaching gig.

Best mind and staff out there for the money. This would be a huge upgrade bring the rest of them with him.
