McGarity needs to be excoriated for this. Have it happen on the spot where the IPF will be built.

yeah i agree, that tweet is pretty damn whiny.

it's not that odd for a coach to move, and it was pretty clear that there was a strong possibility of this happening. expecting them to somehow have the team know before the rest of the world is ridiculous, if not impossible.

I think it's all a lot more simpler than people are making this......

I think Bobo turned 40 and realized it was time for him to move on and become a HC. I'm really not sure that he would have stayed no matter what UGA offered.........

Gives everyone an opportunity to bitch and moan and have a pity party though, i guess.

Mark Richt has shed yet another skin. This one will buy him at least another five years of under-performing the expectations of the fan base.

Seriously, good luck to Mike. I am rooting for him. He has a great opportunity to learn, grow, and shine. If he succeeds and when Richt finally runs out of skin, we will have the inside track on a proven winner.

This is a win-win for both parties, when the long term is being considered. I have oftentimes been a harsh critic of Bobo, but I am elated that he is leaving, so that we might one day bring him back...should he earn it.

Houston needs to get over himself. If you're leaving or interviewing you don't tell anybody...especially folks at your current spot. You put people in a bad position if they know something's going on. And the last thing you want is a rumor getting back to your current boss.

Now, CMR should address everyone once the words out to do damage control and then CMB can have his talk to the troops. The way stuff is leaked and scooped now it's tough to handle things the right way in sequence.

Houstons a kid so he doesn't get it.

And it's not like they went out and pony upped for the guy. They paid him exactly what they were paying Grantham. Yes it was a steal and we got a great deal/return on investment but let's not let that be an example of the administration going out of its way to better the program.
