Chizik, Sumlin, and Freeze

All three coaches earned praise and extraordinary pay after defeating Alabama. 2 seasons after barely beating Alabama, Chizik and Sumlin were exposed badly. Sumlin is fortunate to still have a job.
In 2016, will the Ole Miss Rebels look back and realize that Bo Wallace made Hugh Freeze? Will that 23-17(10) victory actually set them back once the season is over like 28-27 and 29-24 did?
Be wary of beating Alabama on the backs of 1 or 2 players. As Auburn and Texas A&M have learned, the high of defeating Saban is quickly overshadowed by the lows that follow.

God damn not everything is about Alabama stfu.
Sumlin and Freeze are damn good coaches and Chiz won a National Title.

Freeze beat you with Bo Wallace. Imagine what he'll do to Saban when he gets one that is competent.

OR, MAYBE it was because one of those coaches won a national championship, Sumlin won 11 games and slaughtered big game Bob, and Freeze guided the school to their best season in more than a decade?

You guys are 9-3 this year. If/once you lose to TCU, you guys will finish with another 9-4 season like you did in '08 and '09.

Yeah I made that statement assuming we beat TCU which will be hard to do. Even if we lose to TCU this team/season is much better than the '09 team and is right up there (and in my eyes better) than the '08 team

You are right. Basketball is about Kentucky. Everything football is about us. If a QB beats us then it's his crowning moment and he seems to quit like that's all he needs to prove. See Bo and Stephen Garcia. If they beat us in T-town the QB wins a Heisman. Beat us on a crazy last second play and you can auction the players helmet for $47,000. If Bama goes 11-1 then make them #1 over all other 1 loss teams. Cause all college football is about us.

So, beating Alabama is the death knell for coaches, I guess. I'm sure Urban Meyer is weighing that metric as he puts his game plan together.
As for Freeze: his team is 3-0 against the 11 other teams in the New Year's Six; ESPN believes him to have 5 of the top 25 underclassmen in college football today; his 2015 recruiting doesn't suck and 2016 recruiting is looking very good (and yes, much can change before 2016).
