Hal Mumme, what a fricking joke. Here is a list of jobs he's been at.

1989–1991 Iowa Wesleyan
1992–1996 Valdosta State
1997–2000 Kentucky
2003–2004 Southeastern Louisiana
2009–2012 McMurry
2013 SMU (OC)
2014–present Belhaven

He's been wrecking programs since 92. His claim to fame is that he brought in the air raid. So what, the "air raid" aint shite. To be the Godfather of something you think he would have been more successful in his own career. Why do people keep hiring this guy?

He cheated his arse off to get Kentucky that 7-5 record in 1998.

You really are retarded if you believe that, none of his recruits had shite to do with 98.

I was being sarcastic because this is a silly thread. I don't give two shits about Hal Mumme or Kentucky's football program. Have a nice day.

I thought his claim to fame was getting Kentucky put on probation for paying the Means kids $2500 when Alabama paid him $250,000. And people wonder in Kentucky why they can't win at football. They aren't playing the same game.

The only honorable coach Kentucky has ever had was Bear Bryant.

Mumme prefers small college ball. He has said so many times. He gets to try wild, innovative things and doesn't have to deal with the grind of major college football. At Belhaven he probably rolls into work about 10:30 and is back home by 2 in the off-season.

It is probably the least stressful environment to coach.

Hey Cracker, correct me if I am wrong, but Coach Bryant's time at UK is where he spoke the famous words heard throughout BDS before an Alabama home game:

I Ain't Never Been Nothing but a Quitter

Rupp owned his arse
