As for as College Football, Kyler is 100% Texas A&M. Obviously if he gets drafted in baseball high enough to warrant a substantial signing bonus, he might not be able to pass that up. Texas and Oregon will do everything in the book they can do, to get Kyler to come to their schools. It's won't matter. Kyler is a lock. Not only is Kyler a lock, look for him to reel in other players the Aggies are after.
Sumlin and Mack are playing Chavis. Mack will play for the Aggies. Sheffield as well. Kyler will also reel in Damarkus Lodge, etc.
but keep on reading shaggybevo, lulz...

It's funny how you speak as an authority on the topic directly after this line.
What is "substantial"? Because he's getting an easy 7 figures in baseball.

Where he goes and as a result what kind of money he gets offered is going to depend entirely on signability. He is very good but not the type of prospect that a team will waste a sandwich pick on in hopes of convincing him to sign. He still doesn't really have a position, he's only played 2B in HS so far and is expected to play SS this year and some seem to think he's an OF.
I have no idea what his intentions are but our two high profile losses this week probably didn't help matters with him as far MLB goes. I worry about that far more than him going to UT or Oregon though .

For the little lsu posters that desperately want A&M's top 5 recruiting class to "implode", here is a pic of Gatorade National Player of the Year Kyler Murray after the Texas 6A Division 1 Football Championship last night.

If the Kid is good at Baseball too, why did he commit to A&M in the first place. I thought SEC had rules against Kids playing two sports or something along those lines. He would be giving up baseball to play QB for a team he might start for until his senior year. A&M actually sounds like a career killer for this kid.
Kyler would be better off at Oregon
I don't care if you down vote me aggies. I want an Aggie fan to tell me it is in Kyler Murray's best interest to stay at A&M considering all that facts.
1) Hes has a lot of Baseball potential and can't play baseball in the SEC.
2) Kyle Allen 5* QB, is going to be starting for the next 2 or 3 years
I feel like we are going to hear about how A&M processed Kyle Allen in a year.

C'mon. Kyler would threaten for the starting position immediately at A&M. Agree from a career standpoint that Oregon makes the most sense, but would have said the exact same thing about Manziel.
I think the kid would really maximize his potential playing baseball and safety for Stanford, but that doesn't look like it's in the cards.

Absolutely, no way is it in Kyler's best interest to go to A&M. I mean after all his Dad was a 2 Time All American there. It has been 2 years since a very similar QB played at A&M and won the Heisman. A&M has had 2 recent 1st Round Draft picks at QB. He's also grown up his entire life around A&M and always wanted to go there.
Will he have to beat out Kyle Allen? Sure, but kids that go 43-0 in HS with 3 State Titles at the highest level of HS Football in Texas (and arguably the country) and are Gatorade NPOY typically aren't very intimidated by competition.

5'9 165 lbs soaking wet and you think this kid is an NFL level QB?

No clue is Kyler will be an NFL QB, A&M is the only place that has produced a 1st Round QB that is under 6' though.

So being drafted in the first round is now an epic fail?
WTF...

Kyler is about 2.5" shorter than Manziel.
