Sumlin was a good coach. Just look at his teams in Houston. They ran trains. Sumlin wasn't because of JFF. JFF was because of Sumlin. Offensive genius and a quality coach worth 5 mil a year. aTm had turned the page joining the SEC. They were going to still wreck the SEC without JFF because of Texas recruiting and lots of stars 'n shite.

You're right. Mike Evans helped.

i'm kinda more at all the non aggie but other sec fans who thought once the ags moved to the sec they'd be a super power practically automatically. there were many people on this board who thought that.

They could be if they had a good coach. Unfortunately their fans and even worse the admins drank up that Sumlin kool aid quick

Oh that is still around. The only thing we have left is the sleeping giant bit, and all those stats of pre-80s UF and pre-00s LSU.

I still can't believe they paid him 5 mil a year. Anyone with eyes could see JFF was carrying that program.

I know, should have gone with $6 million a year and none of this would have happened.
