Thanks to some of the "frick Bama" go tOSU posts, I wanted to revisit the topic of "Conference Love".

Me personally, I put aside all of my dislike for teams like Moo State, Missouri, and Tennessee, and root for them vs. out of conference foes during Bowl season.

I love hearing the SEC- SEC- SEC chants at the Bowl games, and seeing us dominate the rest of the conferences.

I like to think the majority of people here feel the same..right? What say you. Does Conference Love win out over traditional hate?

GO SEC!

I pull for every SEC team in the bowl games without exception.

I love having Alabama playing in the undisputed premier conference. Makes football more enjoyable to me.

You're trying to bring rational thought to this zoo of a forum. Now you'll witness what the "world of dumbass" looks like.

Sometimes I root for SEC teams, sometimes I don't. It just depends on who I like, how it impacts my team, etc.

I don't "root against" or "root for" the SEC. I root for Georgia. My decision on who to root for in a given game has zero to do with conference affiliations.

At this point conferences are basically television brands. Rooting for or against the SEC or whoever is absurd to me.

It depends on the other team. Mostly I cheer for entertaining games

yea i don't blindly root for conference. It all depends on the game. Bama vs Tosu is hard. I don't want bama to win another title but I would hate to have the big10 ranting about beating the sec. jersey wearers vs the sec version of islam.

I root for SEC teams in the regular season against OOC teams because it helps my team. By bowl season, I do not care. I root against Alabama all of the time, but mostly because the sense of invincibility that Saban has built helps him recruit against LSU. I will also be rooting AGAINST Texas A&M because of recruiting with LSU.

SEC fans that continue to root FOR Alabama each year are stupid. Alabama's success actually hurts the rest of the SEC. Cheering S-E-C, S-E-C only makes sense if it is a different team each year like it was from 2006-2013. If we are JUST seeing Alabama in it every year, that doesn't help anyone.

Pretty sure they've been declining lately.

Maybe saying they are television brands was a bit of an exaggeration, but with expansion and shifting it has become less meaningful I think.

So in 2011 we didn't give a damn about A&M or Mizzou but now we should beat our chests when they win? Same goes for plenty of other situations around the country.

I do believe the SEC is the best conference most years and I will argue that point, but I don't take any "pride" in that. It's the same way I believe that gravity exists, but I don't have "gravity pride".

Trolling the big 10 or free shoes, Notre Dame, etc is always fun

id prefer the ducks take the title this year. Honestly though either way should be fun, if bama was to be upset by tosu that would be fun trolling. If bama rolls tosu then troll the big10

ND should be in for a day full of pain, but it is les miles so you never fricking know what will happen. I can see camtard having us throw 30 times against a battered d instead of letting buga run wild.

This is where we differ. I've always enjoyed and taken pride in being part of an elite group or organization. I believe this feeling carries over to association with such groups. I know that I've got more respect for even the bottom tier teams in athletic conferences that are considered elite.

I pull for every SEC team in bowl games, except for Alabama. With them, it's more of a case by case basis depending on their opponent.
